KUALA LUMPUR, Federal Territory — IRGA Sdn bhd today announced its new leadership for its executive board, specifically the appointment of M.R. Chandran to the position of chairman, as well as unveiling its new list of appointees for its Board of Directors.

We believe that he is the industry guru in tropical plantations, which is one of our key focus areas. A highly respected name globally in the agro-industries, Mr. M.R Chandran brings with him over 6 decades of professional experience in the executive management of business operations within the plantation tree crop commodity sector to IRGA.AG. Mr. Chandran is also the former Chairman of The Incorporated Society of Planters (ISP) Malaysia along with several other notable roles in kindred national and international industry associations. In addition, he is well known for his pivotal role in setting up the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

IRGA has also appointed Mr. Dinesh Nambiar onto its Board and appointed Tan Sri Ravindran Menon and Dato’ Mohd Khadar Merican as Advisors to the Board of Directors.
